We are aware of many companies provide dental services at local schools via mobile units. These companies are not part of Valley View and may not provide consistent and continuous services for your child or children.
For that reason, please decline participation with these companies that scheduled events at your child’s school. Schedule your child’s appointment with Valley View or your regular dentist, who would be more knowledgeable in the dental history of your child.
It is essential to note that if you do consent to care through these companies, your dentist may not receive the examination results, cleaning details, or radiographs from other companies. We understand the importance of seamless and continuous dental care, and we want to ensure that you make an informed decision regarding your child’s healthcare provider.
Our Pediatric Dental Families who have been seen in the last 36 months will be receiving letters about this topic beginning on December 5, 2023. A copy of the letter can be found here.
